Welcome to Pine Wood Kennel where we are proud to breed quality lovable Staffordshire Bull Terriers. We are a small family owned kennel located in the All American City of Fayetteville NC. We have raised and bred Staffordshire Bull Terriers and have been involved with the breed since childhood. We absolutely love our chosen breed and would be more than happy to help you enjoy the great company of a Staffordshire Best Friend.

Although we have not been fully able to show our dogs at the dog shows yet, our dogs do have alot of potential and have many champions in their pedigree's. Our dogs are health checked and healthy and it goes without saying from meeting them or even looking at their pictures that we absolutely would not produce unhealthy pups. We currently have pups that are ready for their new forever homes.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier draws its character of indomitable courage, high intelligence, and tenacity from his past history. The breed originated in the nineteenth century when coal miners in Staffordshire, England, wanted a small, fast dog. They combined the Bulldog with a small local terrier similar to the Manchester Terrier. The result was the Staffordshire Bull Terrier that we know today.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is extremely courageous and obedient, highly intelligent and affectionate with a sense of humor. This, coupled with its affection for its friends, and children in particular, its off-duty quietness and trustworthy stability, makes it a foremost all-purpose dog. He looks forward to daily exercise, and his powerful jaws enjoy a supply of sturdy chew toys. While he is a sweet-tempered, affectionate dog, his strength and determination require an experienced owner who can work with him in a firm, but gentle way. The Staffie’s coat is short and smooth, and needs only a quick brushing once a week.

I am Roy, your breeder and trainer of Staffordshire Bull Terriers here at Pine Wood Kennel. I am a member of our Fayetteville Kennel Club and you will often see me at our AKC sanctioned shows here in the NC area. If you come into contact with me don’t hesitate to say hello, I am always eager to meet new people and will make myself available if I can be of service to you. I have been involved in the dog world in one way or another for the majority of my life and I specially enjoy dog training. I decided to shoot for Dog Training certification through Animal Behavior College headquartered in Santa Clarita, California. I majored in Business Administration in college and look forward to continue my studies in the scientific field of genetics. When you purchase a Staffie from us at Pine Wood Kennel you become part of our extended family and I will make myself available to you if you have any questions or if you just want to share some stories.
